I am a software developer, musician, and teacher. I wrote my first computer program - a text based quiz in BASIC - when I was in junior high, but then turned my energies toward a performing career in music. All the while I kept coding on the side, building and maintaining websites for musical ensembles and small businesses. As a freelance soprano I've sung with ensembles across the US and been nominated for a Grammy award. This past summer I completed the intensive 8-week code immersion course at Tech Talent South, learning to make web apps with Ruby on Rails. I love designing and building apps, and I'm excited to apply my creativity and problem-solving skills to software development.
